We are looking forward to seeing you in Greenville for SECSOR 2013! On-line registration is now open for the 2013 Southeastern Commission for the Study of Religion annual meeting. You may register by using the following link: https://aareligionse.conference-services.net/registration.asp?conferenceID=3592&language=en-uk. The deadline for online registration is February 28.
The meeting will be held March 15-17 in Greenville, South Carolina at the Hyatt Regency. The meeting rate for hotel rooms is $115/night and you may book your room on the SECSOR web page by using the following link: https://resweb.passkey.com/go/SECSOR2013. The deadline for booking at the conference rate is February 21.

Application process for Regional Scholars Award
Applicants must be at least ABD and no more than four years past receipt of the Ph.D. (at the time of application) and must present a paper at a 2013 SBL regional meeting. Selection is based on the quality of the paper, as evaluated by both regional and national selection committees.
To apply, please submit: (1) a brief statement requesting consideration for the award (an email message will suffice); (2) a copy of your paper as you will present it; (3) a C.V. which clearly indicates when you received your Ph.D. or became ABD.
