New Testament Conrad Grebel University College
Conrad Grebel University College at the University of Waterloo invites applications for a full-time regular continuing contract faculty position in New Testament in the undergraduate Religious Studies and graduate Theological Studies programs. Specific teaching responsibilities may include survey, exegesis, and hermeneutics courses, as well as thematic courses related to peace and other subjects that reflect the faculty member’s interests and expertise.
Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following qualifications:
1. A completed doctorate in New Testament. 2. Demonstrated excellence teaching New Testament courses. 3. An active research program in New Testament that leads to regular publications and presentations. 4. An understanding of and commitment to the identity, mission and core values of Conrad Grebel University College, a Mennonite college at the University of Waterloo. 5. Willingness and competence to share collegial administrative duties within Conrad Grebel University College and at the University of Waterloo. 6. Willingness and competence to be a resource person and to engage other sectors of the University of Waterloo, the Mennonite community, and the general public on subjects related to New Testament studies. The appointment will begin July 1, 2013 at either Assistant or Associate Professor level.
