Description:FACULTY POSITION IN THEOLOGY, WITH EXPERTISE IN NEW TESTAMENT STUDIES Position Tenure-track faculty position in New Testament studies within the theology department starting August 16, 2013, pending administrative approval Qualifications Ph.D. required, ABD considered, with expertise in New Testament studies and ability to teach in the church and ministry leadership curriculum. Ministerial credentials or experience strengthens the application. Previous teaching experience desired. Trinity seeks candidates for faculty positions who are professing Christians and committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education in the tradition of Reformed Christian higher education and be competent to demonstrate to students a mature articulation of faith and learning. Faculty members are also dedicated to personal involvement with students outside the classroom in advising, social interaction, and informal academic and cultural settings. Responsibilities Responsibilities include teaching courses in the general education curriculum, upper-level New Testament study courses, and courses in the church and ministry leadership curriculum. Options may open for other areas of expertise. In the first year, new faculty members participate in a year-long formation program, which begins on August 12, 2013. Compensation Rank and salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, pension, life insurance, and disability insurance.
