Description:Tutor in Biblical Studies. Oak Hill Theological College exists to serve churches worldwide as they carry out the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ, by equipping their people to serve with a grasp of God’s revealed truth that is adaptable, deep, broad and integrated. The College is looking for someone to help form and equip future church leaders, both onsite and at distance, by teaching New Testament and Biblical Languages at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This will include Greek tuition and exegesis, supervising postgraduate students in New Testament and, possibly, biblical theology and hermeneutics modules. The person appointed will: Be in agreement with the evangelical ethos of Oak Hill; Be committed to both the pastoral and academic formation of students; Demonstrate self-awareness regarding the dynamics of small team working and shared community life, together with an ability to make a positive contribution in both areas. The final salary will be negotiable, based on the experience and qualifications of the person appointed and will include housing. Remuneration and benefits are in line with the Lichfield Scale. There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) that the post-holder is a Christian. Regulation 7(2)a of the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003 applies. The College is an Associate College of Middlesex University. Oak Hill is accredited by the University to validate its own undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes.
