Description:
The Tikvah Center for Law & Jewish Civilization at NYU School of Law is now accepting applications for the Tikvah Fellowship Program for the academic year 2013–2014. The Program is directed at the finest scholars and educators who engage in legal, moral, normative, and existential issues pertaining to Law & Jewish Civilization. Non-academics such as school principals and rashei yeshivot are also welcome to apply. Two categories of Fellowships are available: “At-Large” and “Thematic.” The Annual Theme for 2013–2014 will be “Law and the Exception.” While in residence at the Center, Fellows work on their individual projects consistent with the Center’s Mission Statement and, where applicable, with the Annual Theme. Fellows attend Workshops to discuss their works-in-progress with the Center’s academic community, and are invited to participate in the various intellectual and social activities of the Center. The Fellowship carries a stipend of US$65,000 and an additional housing subsidy of US$10,000 for non-New York residents.
