Description:The Tikvah Center for Law & Jewish Civilization at NYU is now accepting applications for the Postdoctoral and Visiting Doctoral Tikvah Scholar-in-Residence Program for academic year 2013–2014. The Center also accepts applications from recent J.D. Graduates. The Program aims to attract outstanding graduates and young scholars interested in spending a year researching, writing, and learning in the company of some of the best scholars in the field of Law & Jewish Civilization. The Tikvah Scholars group also includes doctoral and postdoctoral students from NYU School of Law, the NYU Skirball Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies, and the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. The Scholars receive a stipend, ranging from US$7,500 to US$40,000 for the academic year. Applications must be commensurate with the Center’s mission statement.
