The President leads a team of three senior executives to nurture a community of faith, learning and service among Carey’s family of ministries. These branches include Carey Theological College, a degree-granting graduate school, and Carey Institute, which provides spiritual development and equipping for individuals and churches. Carey also hosts students and visitors at Carey Centre, its beautiful, modern residential facility. Carey is located on the stunning University of British Columbia Campus in Vancouver, BC.
Reporting to a policy governance board, the president is responsible for developing Carey’s ongoing financial stability, increasing student recruitment efforts, and stewarding the organization’s current vision and mission. The President also liaises with Canadian Baptists of Western Canada and is a member of the University of British Columbia Senate. The President has exceptional relational skills, proven experience in fundraising and is a dynamic public speaker.
