2012 Travel Grant Recipients Announced

The 2012 David Noel Freedman Award for Excellence and Creativity in Hebrew Bible Scholarship has been awarded to Yitzhaq Feder (University of Haifa). His paper is entitled, “Between Contagion and Cognition: Bodily Experience and the Conceptualization of Pollution in the Hebrew Bible.”

Syllabus, a new peer-refereed journal,
intends to provide an outlet for recognition and support to faculty who excel in teaching. It will publish original course syllabi, essays, and shorter “tool box” entries. All are subjected to blind peer review.
