The Bible in the Iberian World: Fundaments of a Religious Melting Pot (EABS)

Program Unit Type: Section
Accepting Papers? Yes

Call For Papers: For this year’s session, we would like to gather scholars with different backgrounds in order to enlighten the Iberian world’s biblical understanding and experience. Therefore, it is our goal to join in this session papers that deal not only with the interpretation of the sacred texts within the Iberian space, but also with how these peoples have lived their religiosity not just in the Iberian Peninsula but also in the colonies.

Program Unit Chairs

Ricardo Muñoz Solla  (solla@usal.es)

Propose a Paper for this Program Unit

If you are an SBL member, you must login before you can propose a paper for this or any other session. Please login by entering your SBL member number on the left in the Login box.

If you are a member of EABS but not of SBL and want to propose a paper, click here.

If you are not a member of either SBL or EABS but want to propose a paper, click here. While those covered by the SBL program are expected to gain membership, we welcome non-members from the wider region surrounding Estonia to contribute by making a proposal.

For all other persons wanting to propose a paper, you must communicate directly with the chair of the program unit to which you want to propose. Chairs have the responsibility to make waiver requests, and their email addresses are available above. SBL provides membership and meeting registration waivers only for scholars who are outside the disciplines covered by the SBL program, specifically most aspects of archaeological, biblical, religious, and theological studies.
