Academia Biblica publishes doctoral dissertations on topics related to biblical studies, including questions of language, literature, history, archaeology, society, history of thought, and cognate studies. Its purpose is to bring distinguished new works of academic scholarship into the scholarly forum, to provide emerging scholars an opportunity for publishing their dissertations, and to offer models for subsequent dissertations. Academia Biblica continues the earlier SBL Dissertation Series. For more information about publishing a book in this series, contact the appropriate series editor below: Steven L.
