SBL Hebrew, a new Unicode font recently released for final testing, is featured in the April 2004 issue of the Deutsche Bibelgesellschaft Newsletter. Stefan Schaal's article, "Biblisches Hebräisch im Computer-Zeitalter" ("Biblical Hebrew in the Computer Era"), explains the nature and advantages of the Unicode encoding scheme and characterizes it as one of the most important developments in computer technology.
