Which membership should I choose?

Full - Full members receive all of the benefits of membership. Join as a full member if you are not a student and you are interested in proposing a paper for an SBL meeting or participating in the governance of the Society.

Student - If you are a current student, choose this membership. You will receive all of the same benefits as a full member. Please send us a copy of your student ID within two weeks of the start of your membership.
 
Associate - Join as an associate member if you are interested in the many benefits of SBL membership, but you do not desire to participate in the governance of the Society or to propose a paper for an SBL meeting. These are the only member benefits associate members do not receive.
 
ICI - Reduced Membership Rates!
***Members in qualifying countries may also pay the reduced fees of $15 for full membership and $10 for student membership through the International Cooperation Initiative (ICI). The membership form with these reduced rates can be found on the ICI Online Books page.

Are you an institution?
Membership is for individuals only. If you are an institution and would like to subscribe to the Journal of Biblical Literature or the Review of Biblical Literature, please download the subscription form and mail or fax it to our office.
