Psychology and Biblical Studies

Program Unit Type: Seminar
Accepting Papers? Yes

Call For Papers: Our current long-term theme is Facing Life's Crises: Reading Biblical Texts from a Psychological Perspective, and this year's particular focus is issues around Birth and Childhood. As always, we request that reference to the biblical languages be included where relevant and that a named psychologist or psychological theory be included in the paper and the abstract. Anyone on our emailing list (Friends of PsyBibs) will be circulated with the accepted papers in advance of the Meeting, where they will be briefly summarised and then discussed in earnest by all present. Anyone else wishing to receive the papers should email the Chair in order to join the emailing list. We also announce with great enthusiasm that we will be sharing a joint session with Children in the Biblical World so that papers that address their focus will be doubly welcome.
