Pseudepigrapha

Program Unit Type: Section
Accepting Papers? Yes

Call For Papers: The Pseudepigrapha section is accepting proposals and especially encourages papers which take up the theme of pilgrimage, travelogue or movement. In 2019, we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Pseudepigrapha Section with a panel discussion on past, present, and future developments in the field. The Section hosts also a review of J. C. VanderKam, Jubilees: A Commentary in Two Volumes (Hermeneia; Fortress, 2018). Finally, along with the Enoch Seminar, the Pseudepigrapha Section hosts a discussion about the specific ways the study of Second Temple Judaism can be carried forward on the basis of the forthcoming T&T Clark Encyclopedia of Second Temple Judaism (edited by D. Gurtner and L. Stuckenbruck).
