Bible and Ethics

Program Unit Type: Section
Accepting Papers? Yes

Call For Papers: The Biblical Ethics unit will have three sessions at the 2019 Annual Meeting, of which one will be an open session on the theme of “Social Justice and Marginalized Minorities” (the other two being a joint session with the Ethics and Biblical Interpretation section and a book review panel). Our unit welcomes paper proposals on this theme. While papers may focus on specific texts, we especially invite proposals that engage intertextual connections of the theme(s) within the biblical canon and/or its cultural and religious contexts.
