Giving to SBL

Prominent Greek and Roman philanthropists were adept at converting their gifts of time and money into potent symbols of communal strength and solidarity, regularly paying for dramatic festivals and public buildings.

For over one hundred and thirty years, SBL members have regularly given their time and money to support each other as they study the Bible, the world out of which it emerged, and the many contexts of biblical interpretation.
